CEMA System Engineer for Airborne Platforms

In order to support the design and integration of airborne electronic reconnaissance and self-protection systems and supervise the development through the entire life cycle, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a, Development and maturation of technical system concepts and architectures for integrating Electronic Warfare (EW) & Cyber situational awareness/ Operational Picture.

• Prototypical functional & integration testing of CEMA functions.

• Document technical activities.

• Architect for CEMA within Electronic Mission Operations (EMO) as a part of the System of Systems (SoS)-Mission System:

• Define functional architectures how CEMA will be integrated into EMO & SoS Mission functions.

• Define functional architectures how Cyber capabilities will be integrated into SoS Mission functions.

• Define and align Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between Electronic Warfare (EW) and Cyber Subsystems / functions.

• Define and align Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between CEMA / EMO / SoS Functions.

• Definition of requirements on general Cyber Monitoring functions for SoS Mission Systems.

• Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Cyber-Capabilities (incl. Requirements Engineering (Requ. Eng.) for Cyber Integration in EMO).

• Technical Alignment with Product Security & Cyber.

• CEMA-Capability Management (Breaking down Technical & Personal capability gaps for future development).

• Cyber Security Expertise: Proven professional experience in Information Technology (IT), with a focus on Cyber Security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Electronic Warfare (EW) Domain Knowledge: Strong background and practical experience in the field of Electronic Warfare, demonstrating an understanding of relevant systems, operations, and techniques.
• System Modeling Proficiency: Experience utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools for defining, analyzing, and documenting complex system architectures.
• Technical Leadership: Demonstrated experience in technical project management, including planning, executing, and finalizing projects within scope and schedule., This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
