Join the Finance Administration of Zurich shaping financial oversight. This role offers a dynamic team environment and attractive working conditions., The financial administration manages the finances of the canton of Zurich and enables an overall view. It prepares the budget with financial plan and the accounts of the canton on behalf of the government council. It prepares financial decisions of the government council, ensures an efficient accounting system, and provides corresponding services for the entire administration.

The Cantonal Accounting Department sets the guidelines for a canton-wide uniform accounting based on IPSAS, prepares the consolidated accounts as well as the financial statistics of the canton, and is the specialist office for questions regarding value-added tax. The department "Application Responsibility Financial Systems" ensures an efficient accounting system. To assume the technical application responsibility for SAP-FI/CO and to further develop the applications used, we are looking for a team-oriented, service-oriented, and motivated Head of Department SAP FI/CO.

Your tasks:

• Leadership and organization of a team of four employees
• Technical responsibility for SAP Finance and Controlling
• Further development of IT applications in accounting and canton-wide processes
• Development of guidelines for the central SAP system and for authorizations as well as master data management
• Technical support and process consulting
• Chairing the specialist groups "Finance and Controlling" as well as "SAP-FAV FV"
• Participation in the annual financial statements and the consolidated accounts of the canton

• Higher education in Business and/or IT with SAP FI/CO expertise.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with reliable work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and interest in public finance., Higher education in business administration and/or computer science (university, university of applied sciences) with further training in the respective other field Practical knowledge in SAP FI/CO and sound know-how in accounting
