Core network engineer (PS)

For our Client a mobile telco in Switzerland -Lausanne area- we are looking for a senior PS core network engineer with broad expertise in the PS domain. As a member of the Core Network team, you will design, implement and operate THE COMPANY's core network, covering FIX voice, Mobile Circuit Switch, Mobile Packet Switch and IMS. Your duties

• Evolution of THE COMPANY 3G/4G/5G (NSA / SA) PS core network (planning & implementation)
• NFVI and CaaS design, planning and operation
• Implementation of new services
• Operate / maintain core network HW and SW
• Trouble shooting / incident resolution
• Capacity management.
• Performance management
• 24/7 on call rota
• Knowledge transfer within the team for the PS domain

• Degree in telecommunications or equivalent
• Expert on PS mobile core network with at least five years' experience
• Proven expertise in 3G PS and 4G Core network implementation, operation and troubleshooting. SGSN, GGSN, MME and S/PGW.
• Experience in deploying, operating and troubleshooting VNFs on virtualised environments based on OpenStack.
• Kubernetees and Caas experience is a plus. Interest in developing in this area is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience on 5G Core SA2 is a plus: AMF / SMF / UPF.
• Experience with Nokia products: cMM, CMG and CBIS / CBAM are a must. FNS and FNG are a plus.
• In depth knowledge of standard internet protocol suite (TCP/IP).
• IMS core knowledge is a bonus.
• You are at ease using UNIX based systems and databases.
• Protocols: SS7, SIP, MAP, CAP, AAA, Diameter, GTP
• Good analytical and abstract thinking skills: Able to find innovative solutions to complex problems. Team worker. Willing to make a contribution and to make a difference.
• Self-learner, Self-driven, Self-motivated, not afraid of making mistakes. Willing to work on things outside your comfort zone. Always willing to learn.
• Easily approachable, friendly, & proactive in identifying areas for improvement.
• English fluent. French and German language skills are a bonus.
