Senior IT Project & Portfolio Manager

Tasks

• Lead diverse IT projects across multiple streams and teams.
• Ensure clear communication and stakeholder alignment throughout.
• Oversee project governance, planning, and quality assurance., Senior IT Project & Portfolio Manager to lead complex, multi-stream technology initiatives and enhance our project and portfolio management capabilities. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of key IT projects, establish and mature governance processes, and support the development of a structured, scalable project environment across IT and Business. You will act as a senior leader in project execution, stakeholder alignment, and organizational maturity building.

YOUR Role

• Lead medium- to large-scale IT projects across multiple business and IT streams
• Ensure stakeholder alignment, transparency, and structured communication
• Oversee planning, execution, governance, and quality assurance
• Consolidate project status, risks, costs, and progress across initiatives
• Deliver clear dashboards, KPIs, and financial updates for fact-based decisionsMonitor budgets, forecasts, and variances with timely corrective actions
• Standardize VAT's IT project and portfolio management frameworkImplement RACI models and harmonize approval processes
• Drive adoption of new practices and enable cross-functional alignment
• Mentor project managers and foster a strong project management community

• 7+ years managing IT projects in large environments required.
• Strong expertise in project management methodologies like Agile.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills needed., * 7+ years managing IT projects in mid- to large-scale environments
• Strong experience leading cross-country and cross-cultural teams, ideally Switzerland and Malaysia
• Proven track record in project governance, PMO processes, and portfolio structures
• Strong project management expertise (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to design and optimize governance and prioritization frameworks
