Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunication?, * SW development experience in telecom area

  • network synchronization software development experience, like NTP, gPTP, IEEE1588, BITS, SYNCE, GNSS etc.
  • Familiar with the Linux driver development
  • Development experience on L2 forwarding is a plus

Required SW skills:

  • Embedded software development experience is an asset
  • Strong C/C++ programming skill;
  • Well understanding in embedded OS (linux or vxworks);
  • Familiar with OO design and SW methodology
  • Eagerness and agility to learn fast and be challenged on a daily basis
  • Passion in handling complex systems and projects
  • "out-of-the-box" thinking
  • The ambition to work autonomously after the needed training
  • Fluently in English

About the company

We are working on equipment and clock synchronization development on the SW side for the Nokia products. We work closely together with the colleagues in Shanghai. We are working in an agile manner. As a team we also possess a deep understanding of the end-to-end functionality of our products, as our deliverables are gating for other SW application teams. The team consists of a mix of SW development and test engineers. You'll get ample opportunity to get acquainted with the organization, our way of working and products. During this training period, the team will support you with specific on-hands / on-the-job training. Next to that, you will have a wide variety of high-quality on-line training material at your disposal. Additionally, we make time to support each other when facing a next challenge and to celebrate achievements. The goal is to bring our product innovations and evolutions to the market faster and at higher quality than the competition as part of a multi-disciplinary agile team of senior experts and supported by state-of-the-art development and test technologies, tools and processes. As part of our team, you will: * Acquire overview of the broadband access products that Nokia offers * Acquire a thorough insight into the wide variety of hardware components present in our systems. * Work together with the colleagues on clock feature development * Validate of the new functionality on host and target * Work together with the test colleagues to reproduce and fix issues on target hardware and/or in simulation environment. * Work closely together with the HW team * Be accountable for the long-term quality of the software delivered, Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era.
